A neutral colourless balm two or three times a year is all the feeding it needs; test it on the base first and expect it to look slightly darker for a day. Light scratches rub out under a finger.

Yes, and unevenly, which is the point. Full-grain leather darkens where it is handled and where light reaches it, so the handles and the front panel move first. It is not a defect and it is not covered by the guarantee, because it is the material doing what it was chosen to do.
