Choosing a leather travel bag by trip length
A travel bag is sized by days, not by adjectives. The Weekender Compact holds 28 litres, which is 3 to 5 days of clothes for one person: five shirts, two pairs of trousers, a toiletry bag and a pair of shoes in a shoe bag. The Weekender Large holds 42 litres for 7 to 10 days and adds a ventilated shoe compartment at one end.
If you travel with a suit, the Garment Duffel folds a hanging section around a regular weekender. Two suits lie flat, and the whole bag still meets cabin limits on most airlines when folded. The Folding Garment Bag is the lighter option for one or two nights when the suit is the only thing that matters.
